What I Teach

By profession, my main job involves teaching English as a Foreign Language. However, I can also tutor other subjects. Here, I focus on EFL teaching.

English

Having worked as an English teacher in Korea, I have discovered that it is not an easy thing to explain the bizarre and unusual grammar rules and uses of words. So, one of the first things I did while I was teaching, was research as much grammar and vocabulary explanations as I could find. Coupled with unofficially helping my non-native-English friends with their speaking and writing, I have learned a lot about my own language that I never knew before.

Korean

Having studied Korean at both SOAS and Korea University, and from having lived here for several years, I have become fluent in Korean. While I am not a native speaker, I can still live a normal life with almost no trouble in communication, and I can confidently say that I have studied under some of the best Korean language teachers.
